One afternoon in March, 1947, a recent college graduate named Ed Price rolled into Baton Rouge on a bus form Tuscaloosa, Alabama. At the tender age of twenty four, he had already stormed Omaha Beach and helped liberate Paris as an infantryman in the second World War.
